ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE
At its core, the People First Economy is an economic justice-oriented program, and climate justice is woven into the very fabric of PFE. Our goal is to engage the people most impacted to build long-term social, institutional, and political power. That is why in 2024, ACE is organizing to politicize and educate community members around economic equity, specifically incorporating a climate-focused approach to our coalition, especially regarding water conservation and personhood for the Colorado River.

Environmental Justice is a People First Economy. We have turned the most pressing issues into a collective solution and a reality in Arizona.
The People First Economy is building and organizing a movement of community members and leaders dedicated to reclaiming our power.
We are co-creating people-informed budgetary policies centered around real community needs, such as clean water and healthcare.
We are holding elected officials accountable for their governance decisions and their commitment to economic equity and climate action. Additionally, we are electing our own community leaders who share our values and are redefining co-governance by working with us for an environment that benefits us all.
