ACE members across the state have come together to create the following 2023 budget priorities most central to the vision of Arizona’s communities not just surviving, but thriving.
Paid Family and Medical Leave for All: A statewide Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program that would provide at least 24 weeks of paid leave for all Arizona workers (HB2310/SB1568)
Affordable Housing: $150 million toward Arizona’s Housing Trust Fund with emphasis on direct support like funds towards rental assistance
Access to Higher Education: $40 million to the Arizona Promise Program to expand access to tuition assistance for more Arizonans
Corporate Tax Fairness: A repeal of massive tax breaks given to large profitable corporations, particularly the law that allows large multi-state corporations to choose the formula that results in the lowest tax liability (HB2680/SB1682)
